I forgot Gyro had such a strong resistance to his chimera aspect and remember his human life that he was able to leave immediately. Also I thought Gyro is refer as “king” because he was basically a kingpin with the NGL.

2023-12-04 16:49:41 +0000 UTCSo, generally, anything not resolved in the show was removed. The manga set up Gyro as a future antagonist when Gon and Killua were in that town training with Bisky. Still, the anime omitted this since the consequence would never be animated. This led people to think Gyro = Meruem or that his backstory was pointless when the manga states he will meet Gon in the far future. Also, he is worthy of being called a king since he is the only chimera ant to resist their biological attachment to the Queen and leave as he did.

2023-12-03 20:13:53 +0000 UTCI believe it was stated that Gyro is the most “evilest” person/character or something close to that. Glad you remember the characters Gyro, the anime did not handled the characters well. It was too ambiguous and not clear who Gyro was and the point behind the whole backstory, compared to the manga.
