Your questions about the code for the elevator - it was a system put in place by the government, not the ants. So the old guy who was talking to Nov and Morel in the Hunter HQ gave them all the info. I think he had similar level of access to Bizeff. The weighted code system didn't apply to him or bizeff, as they often smuggled stuff in; so had that part turned off. So their codes work for anyone, if found out.
