2023-11-08 19:10:41 +0000 UTCCrunchyroll does have the directors cut, it’s listed below season 2 as “Season 2 rezero starting life in another world-directors cut” but it’s the season 1 directors cut. Then the actual season two is listed as “ “Season 2 rezero startling life in another world-season 2”. Personally I really like the directors cut, the show can be very gory so the extra detail adds good effect, and there’s some addition content, but it’s not so different that you HAVE to switch to the directors cut if you prefer the 20 min version

In the end there isn't that much difference so it's up to you. Biggest difference is that DC episode is 2 episodes in 1, so would be longer reaction. That is why if you enjoy normal length and only want to do 1 episode reaction it might be easier to just roll with TV version.
