2023-11-06 02:25:14 +0000 UTCMy take on it is that Pitou's change /was/ abrupt, but with purpose. Seeing Meruem's reaction to Komugi potentially dying changed her. I don't think anyone (but maybe Pouff) saw the true impact Komugi has on the king, and that was her firsthand taste of it. Since Komugi is important to the king, he's important to her now too Great react! This was my fav episode in the series lol

2023-11-05 15:39:05 +0000 UTCYou have to remember that Gon and Killua are still just 12 to 13 years old, granted they are prodigies but they tend to behave like children from time to time in the show. Gon is just being emotional and selfish which we have already seen alot of up to this point in the show. Parker is right about Pitou being the one who cares about what the King cares about. While Pouf mainly cares about "HOW" the King should be not necessarily how the king feels. And Youpi is just there for the king. As he says "he is the king's shield" and he doesn't put much thought into anything else. But that's about how the royal guards are portrayed up until now.
