His perspective has change over the years of writing one piece. Also didn’t Oda drew the final panel of the final chapter, long time ago? With adult Luffy putting his hand on Nami pregnant belly?

2023-09-22 23:36:36 +0000 UTCIt is harder to portray in live action but in the One Piece world regular human can reach superhuman levels of strength or speed – Zoro (remember when he lifted that very heavy safe in ep1 or now the shutters in this ep) & Kuro (and his swiftness) being examples of that Kuina's death actually is a heavily discussed topic in the fandom to this day, since – it was left out here – she died falling down the stairs. And, unlike the LA & anime, in the manga her corpse was shown with her face covered by a cloth. There have been countless theories ranging from: a murder cover-up by her father/the dojo sensei to many even speculating it may have been a euphemism for suicide. The common idea, however, is that Kuina, someone who Zoro could never beat by force, ending up dying by something so unspectacular, is supposed to be one among other reasons why it affected Zoro so much. It's just that many doubt that humans-are-fragile storyline w/Kuina considering how how, as mentioned above, superhuman humans can be in the OP world.
