The only one who would have a chance is Chrollo due to his genius level of intelligence and potentially nen abilities that yet to even be seen by us. Base on what we have seen from the troops, they wouldn’t stand a chance against the king.

2023-08-07 14:35:14 +0000 UTCFeitan did get battered and bruised up by Zazan, even though he was victorious. Now the Royal Guard are several degrees more powerful than the squadron leaders and the king is even more powerful than them. So I think most of the phantom troop members would get murked by the Royal Guards in a 1v1 fight. Then I think all would be killed by the king. If the 4 ants went up against the entire troop in a group vs group fight. I think the troop would stand a better chance as it would be 3v1 and I assume they have worked together at least a couple times, so team work would be a factor.

The point is that it isn’t confirmed or even really implied to have happened, so saying it has happened for sure is a spoiler. Which you don’t really know for sure I’ve only now seen the edited version of the comment: are you saying that, in the manga chapters already adapted by episode 96, togashi said that chrollo had his powers back?

2023-08-06 20:18:15 +0000 UTCIt’s safe to assume that he will have access to his power once the curse is removed. Because technically, Chrollo always had his abilities. It just that if he try to use them he would immediately die. Also I said “manga” because you ask if it confirmed. Also there are information in the manga that was never mentioned or stated throughout the anime. For example Chrollo ability requirements and conditions and how they works were stated all the way back in yorknew arc. I don’t consider those type of information spoiler if the only way to get them by asking someone or reading the manga.

It could be that, because chrollo has been essentially using hisoka to communicate with the troupe, when hisoka calls, they think of it more as chrollo sending a message. It could also be that the troupe is aware that the exorcist is in the middle of the process of removing the nen, or that hisoka is in the process of getting chrollo and the exorcist in contact with each other. Maybe hisoka told them that they should expect a call from chrollo when the exorcism is done, so the troupe are naturally eager to hear from him. There are probably countless ways that you could make it so that chrollo doesn’t have his powers yet/the troupe aren’t sure. Also why mention the manga stuff here?

The fact that they thought the boss was calling them mean the curse was removed at some point off screen before this episode. I know for a fact the manga confirmed. But I think the anime just hints it and not never directly show or state it. Only implied. I don’t really consider this a spoiler.

2023-08-06 19:09:33 +0000 UTCAwesome reaction to one of my favorite episodes. Chrollo by this time, have gotten his power back off screen. Some people theory that Feitan is one of the few members who could defeat and kill Hisoka in a fight. Also this episode alluded Feitan has multiple abilities and is much stronger in his prime. People also theorizes Feitan, possibly might have access to all the different elemental powers. Or at the very least two different elementals abilities.
