Askeladd was a villain but there was no denying the huge impact he had on Thorfinn and that in a weird way he really cared for Thorfinn by the end of his life. Thorfinn hated Askeladd for what he did to his father and Askeladd hated the Vikings for what they did to his mother. They were two sides of the same coin really.

2023-06-30 15:56:49 +0000 UTCHi & TGIF Sam, Dani, and Morgan 😀 It is difficult to imagine how it felt like for Thorfinn leaving his home at such a young age and to return a young man after all he experienced during those long years of traveling. It was heartwarming to see Thorfinn reunite with his mother but terrible to witness how estranged the relationship had become with his sister after he left as a child. The ending flashback of his parents and Thorfinn’s dream of a world without strife will propel the storyline going into Season 3 to new heights! Thanks so much to “The React Pack” for another amazing stream of Vinland Sage, S2 and have a fabulous weekend everyone!!

2023-06-30 15:55:43 +0000 UTCSeeing Thorfinn reunite with family, was one of the most endearing and entertaining moments in the whole series so far. After all the hardships, sorrows and lost. I truly enjoy this season ending on pleasant note. Vinland Saga is one of the best.
