Btw just fun trivia knowledge. Kana VA is the same VA in Demon Slayer for Daki/Ume demon in season 2, talented VA =)

Parasyte was serialized from 1988 - 1995, back when cellphones weren't as commonplace, so Kana didn't have one in the manga (or, if she did, it never came up). When you modernize an "older" story, there are a LOT of things to consider, so I'm glad they thought to address the advances in technology and culture, like cellphones.
