2023-02-27 17:01:55 +0000 UTCReason Lucy didn't tell David was explained in ep 9 - her actions to protect David in ep 6 got Maine and Dorio killed. She didn't want David to hate her for betraying the team in that mission. After all, she fried Tanaka's circuits, hoping to kill him in ep 6 after deleting the data on David. However, she didn't expect Maine and Dorio to revive Tanaka with that injector. Even worse, frying the circuits destroyed the jammer, so now Trauma team knew where the team and Tanaka were located. Maine and Dorio died fighting as they tried to hold onto Tanaka. So, Lucy didn't want David to know about the data Arasaka had on him, because it would lead to him knowing she betrayed the team to protect David, which got Maine and Dorio killed.
