This last episode had a lot of dumb writing imo. Like just punch a hole in the floor and toss him in if you are worried about his safety... but to just flip on soldier boy was really weird. Also Maeves fall without powers. Oh well

We saw her arm bracelets are strong enough to resist Homelander's laser (kind of like how Wonder Woman's bracelets can resist Superman's heat vision). Also, she is stronger than most heroes. But yeah...that blast was huge and IMO if that didn't kill her the fall should have since she lost her powers. Not the best writing, but at least she's alive.
