I liked them for what they were, but in hindsight it seemed like they put more budget and effort into that arc than for the more important arc in the second half of the season. Didn't make me stop watching, but I definitely felt like S5 was the weakest, and definitely felt myself drastically losing enthusiasm for the series (still gonna watch and enjoy S6).
