I was so surprised when i saw bakugo express himself the first time it hit so hard, and that scream he did at the end of the fight had such emotion the VA did amazing!

He is always striving to win and if he doesn't win, he sees it as his own personal failure. My boy has A LOT of anxiety on the daily. All Might losing his powers PLUS failing the exam... he was really going through it. One line from the dub that I really love (the whole dubbed fight is so good imo as well) is that Deku thinks "My idea of victory is so tied to the image of you in my head, that in those moments, I can't help but imitate you."

2022-04-28 18:30:03 +0000 UTCThe first time we see any sort of sensitivity from Bakugo. You could see hints about his depression in the dorm tour episode when he was seen asleep and apart from everyone else.
