They can't have the big bad main monster of the episode dying too quickly. Gotta hype him up enough, so a lot of times it's "Heroes fight super strong monster until Saitama gets there" when there's no high rank S-Class Heroes present. Actually there's a OPM video game, and that's literally the how the combat works. Saitama can't even be selected as a fighter. You basically select any two fighters or so to fight as, and if you don't defeat the opponent quickly enough, a Saitama Cam appears that shows him running and how far away he is. Once he gets there, you can play as him and do his thing. On YT there's some crazy shit when players fight online and it's Saitama vs. Saitama lmao.
