Stain honestly is right about heroes but just went about the wrong way of doing it. It makes it look like he was a villain and villain only but he wasn’t. He didnt agree with heroes wanting to be heroes because it is a job and they get money. He also took down villains(im assuming because he is an ex hero wanna be and is now an anti hero, not villain) If you noticed before, they mentioned in the anime that crime rate went down in the city he was in. Heroes began to think about whether they actually want to be heroes therefore bringing out stronger and more heroes that will truly save without a second thought.
