2021-03-28 18:35:16 +0000 UTCAmong all the students, in terms of pure physical prowess, Yuuji is the strongest with Maki in second and Todou comes in at 3rd. While Todou is at peak human strength, Yuuji and Maki have literal superhuman strength. Actually, Yuuji is currently the strongest character in the show in terms of physical strength and this strength is not related to Sukuna. Also, fun fact: The whole part of Maki's fight with Miwa in the river stream was animated by a 17 year old freelance animator who wanted to work on it because Maki is his favourite character.

2021-03-28 15:41:34 +0000 UTCOne thing I think you misunderstood: Kyoto Team isn't trying to kill anyone besides Yuuji. If I recall, you seem to have thought that they were trying to kill Nobara, which wasn't the case. Just wanted to clear that up. Also, I got the sense that more than anything, Mai actually hates herself, and she's covering it up by telling herself that she hates Maki. The more she says it, the more she convinces herself, even though no matter how many times she says it, she's still lying to herself. I think she knows deep down she's still the scared little girl, and ofc she's jealous of Maki's strength, both physical and mental. I'm hoping in the future we see some epic character development from Mai, addressing the fact she's holding herself back, and being stuck in the past.
