But I think Toudou actually did attack Megumi at least partly because of his taste in women. The way they presented it in the episode there really is no doubt that that was at least part of the reason.

2021-01-26 14:50:30 +0000 UTCYou guys seemed to miss this info but there is going to be an βexchange eventβ between the school in Tokyo and the sister school in Kyoto. Mai (2nd year) and Toudou (3rd year) are from Kyoto. They accompanied the Kyoto Principal (the old guy gojou was talking to at the end) to Tokyo because the Kyoto Principal and Tokyo Principal were going to have a meeting at the Tokyo school to discuss the exchange event. Toudou attacked Megumi not because of his taste in women, but because Megumi and Nobara are replacing the tokyo third years in the exchange event. Exchange event is supposed to include the third years and second years, not the first years. (Tokyo third years are not in the exchange event because they got expelled? If someone can fact check me on that Iβd appreciate it) Toudou assumes that if he beats the first years, the third years will be forced into the exchange event. Itβs Toudouβs last exchange event and he wants it to be with the Tokyo third years because he enjoys strong competition. And as far as I know, Toudou asks his question about the women because thatβs just how his character is.
