Lacey's Date Night - Deleted Moment

So here is a little deleted moment from Lacey's Date Night. It is from the club scene and was going to be another 'flirting' moment between the two, but I decided it was too much. That she shouldn't do this until it was time for her to cheat. But I may as well show you guys now:

As if thinking it had made it happen, Melissa spoke again.

“You two kiss a lot but you don’t kiss very deeply, do you?” She asked, glancing at Baron who hadn’t seemed to notice until now. He nodded along now he thought of it.

“We do. Just not so much in front of other people.” Carter answered and Lacey felt grateful as she had no idea what to say to that.

She also felt slightly perturbed that Melissa had noticed it. There was nothing saying that they should be making out in front of other people, but then they hadn’t made out in the cinema when it had been dark. It must seem a little odd to some people.

“Give her a proper kiss, Carter!” Melissa replied, “Look at her. She’s a hot woman, she wants attention! Give it to her.”

Lacey glanced between the other woman and Carter and was glad to see that her fiance’s best friend was feeling as awkward as she was right then. He knew he couldn’t go that far. And so did she.

“We’re not going to make out in front of other people. That’s just rude.” Lacey responded, thinking she had the upper hand here. It was rude to just make out with each other when you were on a double date. You were supposed to talk to everyone.

“You don’t have to make out. Just kiss like you’re more than friends. You two seem like old people when you kiss. Where’s the passion? You’re her fiancé after all, Carter! Give this hot woman some love!” Melissa went on relentlessly and Lacey’s mouth worked.

She didn’t know what to say to that. She just looked over at Carter to see if he had anything to say, but he too looked dumbfounded.

Then he stood up.

Looking over to her he looked determined and held out a hand. Lacey had no idea what he planned to do – did he plan on just walking away? Maybe to the bar? This kind of pressure wasn’t healthy after all – so she took his hand and stood up too.

Immediately he pulled her to him, gently but firmly. And looked down at her.

“This is just pretend.” He said and Lacey nodded, breathlessly as she caught on to what he was saying.

Her heart suddenly surged at a hundred miles per hour and her breathing rapidly increased until her big tits almost threatened to spill out of her low-cut dress.

Leaning down he pressed his lips against hers, softly at first and then harder. Then he kissed her, once, twice, three times, before he opened his mouth. All Lacey could think of was Dale sitting at home while she kissed his best friend. But then Carter closed his mouth and pressed his lips even more firmly against hers. And she finally caught on to what he was doing.

It was an actor’s kiss, where they made it look like they were kissing deeply but they were not, and Carter was doing such a good job that he even had Lacey fooled. She had just thought he had meant to press his lips hard to hers, but he kissed her as he would another actor.

But even so his lips still met hers in a firm kiss, three times, four, five his lips left hers before kissing back on them. But not once did he move his tongue near her – and for that Lacey felt grateful. She could explain this away as just pretend, even while he kissed her lips. She didn’t feel like she was doing anything wrong, and this way it looked like they were kissing deeply.

Finally Carter broke the kiss and leaned back, looking down at her with eyes that shone both worried and incredibly desirous. Lacey smiled at him to show that she wasn’t mad and that she was alright with what they had done and the two of them turned to look at the other couple.

“Woo! Now that’s more like it!” Melissa shouted out and Baron applauded them both before those two began kissing harder and more open mouthed than Lacey and Carter had.

Turning back towards her fiance’s best friend, Lacey looked up at him as she took her hand back.

“Thank you for pretending.” She said softly.

Carter nodded.

“It was difficult when I kissed you. But you’re my best friend’s girl.” He replied and Lacey smiled sweetly up at him.

“Do you think they bought it?” She asked, nodding towards the other couple.

“I think so. Dale would have if he’d seen it. So I’m glad he wasn’t here.” Carter answered and then smiled at her as he backed away and sat down again.

You read it when you want to read it. There is no rush. And yeah, J.T. pointed out that I had posted this before so not to worry.

Oh and I mean other authors. Not your stories in particular. There are other authors and books that I read but never finish. Lol.

Hmmm....was this posted before? I didn't check. But this was a hot scene. Sorry Shadow. I hate to say this but I chose not to read your story yet because there are also so many others I haven't read or even finished. I jump around stories a lot and I hate the fact that I do that. When I come back to read it, I forget what happened then I have to start over. Lol. I promise I'll read it asap!

You're right, I did. I only just found it again in my files and I didn't think I had posted it. Oh well. I'll leave this here anyway

I think you posted this before, see Feb 28 deleted mini-scene post. This sounded familiar. Thanks again though, love to see all the scenes that didn't make the cut.
