Update (19th January 2018)

After two months without writing I am back at it. The story is now 273 pages long. I have also gone through some of the later things I intend to write and removed some of them (as they were repetition), so this should cut what I have to write down a lot.

The first scene is taking much longer than planned - basically as the story is about her sensations and journey into cheating the first time and the first scene needs to be detailed in exploring that. Having said that I have made huge progress today and when looking over what to remove I also saw that I had planned the same things to be written in several sections of the first scene just in case I wanted to move them about. So I am hoping that the first part of the first scene will be the most exploration of her first sensations of cheating and the rest will be less so. That would make it quicker.

One of the main problems I have found with writing this story is how I flip from being bored of the story to really wanting to write it. I have been working on it for so long, it is so long itself, and no matter how much I write I never seem to get any closer to the end, that all of these just tire me of the story and I don't feel like going back to it. Especially the latter. But then whenever I think of the idea and what happens in the story, the characters and what I have written so far, I just think it is so hot! So I always want to get back to it after. So it is like a see-saw and love-hate relationship at the moment.

That is why I am hoping by 'seeing' that I have less to write than the plan for the story suggests, and focusing on each little goal/section I finish, it will help me overcome some of those things that bore me. I REALLY want to get away from this story now, but I just can't until it is finished. So I am trying to just dig down and get it done. But fuck is it difficult.

So that's why you get these little updates too. Anything to help me feel like I am achieving something and getting closer. Much needs to be edited and I have come up with so many stories I want to write, and I really am looking forward to getting to them, (how I have planned and written this story I will NEVER do again; it has been hell and disheartening), so I think that will help with my writing mood after this story too.
