Added 2017-10-14 19:15:17 +0000 UTCWriting is going well after a break because I was moving house. I finally have a new office that is quiet enough for me to concentrate again and I have been writing passionately. The story is currently almost 55% done in the first write-through and what I have been writing I really like. It is now a matter of how much has to be written that delays the story rather than problems and such. But having said that as I am now writing every day in relatively conducive conditions my aim is to have the finished first draft by the end of October. If that is too optimistic (as I had hoped to have the office space operational two weeks ago) the very latest I will have the first draft finished is the end of November. After that a few days of editing and it will be submitted to Lit.
For those who don't know the sex scenes are always the longest and most difficult part of a story to write - at least if I am doing it right - due to how hot they are. Basically I write and have to take breaks to calm down ;) But they are really going well and I know everything that has to happen and how. The whole story is planned out now and it is literally just a matter of translating that plan into the story prose and making sure it is hot. The story is currently 237 pages in Word which is around 37 pages on Lit, and at 55%...well, you can see that it is just how much writing has to be done that is why it will take a while.
Of course I am not saying that the final story will be as long as the finished draft as with editing this may be cut down, especially when I remove repetition and such. But it is safe to say that the story will be at least twice the size of HP now. I have a few different stories in mind for what comes next that I think you will all enjoy but right now I am *really* enjoying writing this one again.
Will update as I have more news but I just wanted to let you all know I *am* still here and working my ass off. Expect things to get quicker now I have my office!
