Testing and Posting Stories on Patreon

Ok, two things.

First, I will be posting a couple of stories from Lit on here - probably HP and Crying Wolf - in order to test how Patreon reacts to different post lengths. This will help me know if I can post the new story in one go, sizeable chunks, or if I have to post about 50 small posts. These posts will of course not be 'charged' but they will be Patron Only (again, so I can test how it works). So if you see lots of new posts over the coming days with 'story' or something in the title, this is what they are. The new story has a way to go (as I noted last time) so it won't be that. You can ignore these posts and they may be deleted depending on how nice they play with Patreon due to length. (They may also be repeated).

Second, and more important, I have been made aware of a 'scam' people often try to pull on Patreon where they pledge/become Patrons to access Patron Only content and then un-pledge quickly. Given that this Patreon is optional and only here for those who want to choose to support me, that my stories will be posted for free on Lit with exactly the same content as on here, and that as I am hesitant to post anything that may spoil a story anything I do post that is not on Lit won't really be super important, I find this 'scam' behaviour really peculiar in my case. It just seems kind of, well, pointless. So I thought I would put that out there. But it has made me consider whether or not I should do what I originally intended regarding posting new stories on here for Patrons before they have been posted on Lit (i.e. once they are submitted to Lit but before they have been approved). I am sure some of you could see the potential problems and it also means that it wastes some of my time going through emails, and such. So I have not decided on that yet. It is possible that I may post some of the story or none of it, depending, until it is released on Lit (for those reasons I am sure you can imagine). I have not decided yet, but I wanted to point it out to get your thoughts.

One related issue. I don't know if this is still the case but apparently some Creators have found that Patrons cannot make a pledge, have their pledge denied or rejected, or when a charged post is made their pledge is denied (via Paypal or whatnot). If you have a problem not being able to pledge you can let me know. If it is any of the others I think you have to contact Patreon or switch methods. From the little I know this is because the content is flagged as 'adult'. Again, feel free to message me (via Lit or the methods noted on Lit) if you have a problem pledging.

Before I end I am also pleased to have seen your reactions regarding the deleted scene. It seems that those who have messaged me all liked the little they read and the characters. Always good to hear and always provides motivation to write. I hoped that you would all get an understanding of how detailed the story is and how the pace is much more drawn out than in previous stories, and thus can get a better idea of why the story is so long. Let me know any thoughts and if there is anything else to show you all, I will. Right now working as hard as I can to get the story done. So much to do.
