black & blue UPDATE (scene 13 START!)

English: Hurray!!!!

Sorry everyone that it took a little longer again! TuT
Unfortunately, I managed to mess up my back TWICE last week: once during a completely normal movement, and a second time while trying to fix it with yoga. OTL

There’s still a ton of other stuff going on, but slowly I’m getting back into the comic groove! :,D

March and April are always kind of horror months. XD Half recovering from the pre-Book Fair drawing stress, half drowning in insane amounts of organizing — and I’m just one person trying to handle it all alone! TuT (Okay, Kito helps me now and then with packing shop orders and printing labels — bless you, Kito! — but most of the work still falls on me.) (Also bless Kami for flatting the pages and Kate for converting everything to Webtoon format! I seriously don’t know what I’d do without you two. Die? :,,,D)

Before I say anything about the update:
The physical Patreon rewards for all Axolotls and Sneks will FINALLY be packed over the next few days!

Now, about the update:
The beginning of a new chapter is always a little frustrating, because there’s so much drawing and not much plot progress yet, X,D but at least now you know Derek’s brilliant plan! :D
Also, starting with Volume 7, the PERSONAL PARADISE FAQ has officially been replaced! Now we have “Kinkipedia” with official BDSM term explanations!
I’ve been doing this kind of thing “unofficially” in the Comments of the Week for a while… but I really wanted to bring it into the books properly. And since I honestly couldn’t think of any more important lore facts about PP (or b&b), I thought, why not swap the FAQ for Kinkipedia? XD The first entry is still pretty basic and not super controversial —but hey, you have to start with the fundamentals if you want to explain something properly, right? :D

I’m a little bit proud of the chapter title and the cover too. Ö-Ö This time it’s very symbolic!

Anyway — I’m full of motivation and super happy that things are finally, finally moving forward again! :D Yaaay! The next update won’t take too long either — after all, I have to stockpile lots of pages before May 1st!

Deutsch: Hurray!!!!

Sorry Leute, dass es schon wieder ein bisschen länger gedauert hat! TuT Leider habe ich mir letzte Woche ZWEIMAL übel den Rücken verrissen: einmal bei einer ganz normalen Bewegung und ein zweites Mal beim Versuch, es mit Yoga zu verbessern. OTL

Es gibt zwar immer noch jede Menge anderes nebenher zu tun, aber schön langsam komme ich mit dem Comic wieder in die Gänge! :,D

DANKE an alle, die Geduld und Verständnis für mich hatten und geblieben sind! TuT

März und April sind irgendwie immer Horror. XD Einerseits soll man sich von dem Zeichenstress vor der Buchmesse erholen, andererseits gibt es gleichzeitig irre viel zu organisieren — und ich bin ja nur ein Mensch, der das alles irgendwie allein stemmen muss! TuT Okay, Kito hilft mir ab und zu beim Verpacken der Shop-Orders und beim Drucken der Labels (danke, Kito!), aber den Rest muss ich größtenteils allein schaffen. (Bless Kami fürs Flattern der Seiten und Kate für den Umbau ins Webtoon-Format! Ich wüsste echt nicht, was ich ohne euch tun würde. Sterben? :,,,D)

Bevor ich noch was zum Update sage: Die physischen Patreon-Rewards für alle Axolotls und Sneks werden die Tage ENDLICH verpackt!

So, jetzt zum Update:

Chapter-Anfänge sind immer ein bisschen frustrierend, weil man viel zeichnen muss, ohne dass der Plot richtig vorankommt, X,D aber immerhin kennt ihr jetzt Dereks brillanten Plan! :D

Das PERSONAL PARADISE FAQ habe ich ab Band 7 jetzt übrigens ersetzt: Stattdessen gibt es jetzt eine “Kinkipedia” mit offiziellen Begriffserklärungen zu BDSM! Ich habe sowas ja schon öfter “inoffiziell” in den Comments of the Week gemacht… aber ich wollte das einfach auch offiziell in die Bücher reinholen. Und da mir keine weiteren wichtigen Fakten mehr zur Welt von PP (bzw. in dem Fall b&b) eingefallen sind, dachte ich: Dann wird das FAQ jetzt eben zur Kinkipedia! XD Die erste Folge ist jetzt noch recht selbsterklärend und nicht sonderlich kontrovers — aber hey, man muss ja bei den Basics anfangen, wenn man etwas richtig erklären will, oder? :D

Ich bin ein kleines bisschen stolz auf den Chapter-Titel und das Cover. Ö-Ö Sehr symbolisch diesmal!

Jedenfalls: Ich bin voller Tatendrang und mega happy, dass es endlich, endlich weitergeht! :D JUHUUU! Das nächste Update wird auch nicht allzu lange auf sich warten lassen – immerhin muss ich bis zum 1. Mai noch ordentlich Seiten anhäufen!
