Alpha 4 Road Map

We wanted to share with you, out Patrons, the Alpha 4 Road Map: what's to come to Aether Story in the coming months.  

This Road Map also covers our plans for our monthly Patreon Early Access! Consider joining the $5 or higher tier to access a monthly "early access" preview of each Alpha release 2 weeks before anyone else.  Each early access preview will also contain a special bonus that will make it worth your while, like improved drop rates, and secret dev maps or notes leading to easter eggs.  Thank you for supporting us!

Alpha 4.0

• Coming February 1st to everyone:
• Beach map with two new quests
• New Tidal Cave with an additional quest
• Introducing one of the main characters has an intro to the main storyline
• Potions are now usable in Battle

Alpha 4.1

• Coming March 15th for everyone:
• New Bandit Highland Area - finally explore past the camps in the north west corner of the forest.
• New Bandit Mines Dungeon Area - with a new quest to solve the shutdown mine directly outside the town.
• Equipment and Gems - finally equip gear and costumes
• Level cap increase to 7
• Patreon Early Access:  Bandit Highland Camp March 1st

Alpha 4.2

• Coming April 15th for everyone:
• New Zone: Northern Domhan Forest - explore the deep northern forest and meet new NPC's and go on a new storyline driven quest
• New Bloodfang Cave Dungeon Area - enter the dark wolf dens and explore depth never before traveled. 
• New Spirit Grotto Dungeon Area - this mysterious cave network has not had the likes of an adventurer explore it ever before, be-careful it is full of difficult foes.
• Battle Improvements - prototyped spells and skills
• New Feature: Hunting Log - be rewarded for killing different monster types and hutning down rare monsters
• Patreon Early Access: North Forest and Bloodfang Cave coming April 1st

Alpha 4.3

• Coming May 15th for everyone:
• Revamped Abandoned Windmill Dungeon Area - explore the crypts below the abandoned windmill complete with monsters, a challenging boss-like-enemy, and new passages added in this revamped release.
• More Battle Improvements - more skills and spells prototyped
• A new Profession - the game's second crafting profession will be released. Prepare yourselfs!
• Patreon Early Access: The New Profession coming May 1st
