Development Update - October 2024

Hello everyone! And an extra hello to all the new subs since Chapter 5 was released.

It’s been a rough few weeks, but I’m here, feeling like I can do Origin Story stuff again without hurting. Wife got covid, then kid got covid… so I had to step up and put the game on the backburner for a few days while I was husband, dad, breadwinner, housekeeper and nurse all at once (the nurse outfit was hot though). Naturally, in a house full of covid, I was next, and this time it really sucked. I spent a good chunk of last week in bed, barely able to move, think or function in any capacity. Fortunately, my ability to process words on a screen and hit the space button on my laptop was all good, so I did use the time to catch up on a few other AVNs on my list: Between Two Worlds, Cosy Café and now on Unbroken. All of them were, or so far are, great, so I would recommend them all if you haven’t had the chance.

Then just when you think you’re recovering, and all the illness in your house is done with, you’re suddenly rushing your wife into hospital at 3am with crippling back and stomach pains. 8 hours spent waiting in A&E, on 2 hours sleep, watching overworked nurses running around like lunatics trying to keep up with all the idiots who spent their Friday evening getting fucked up, all while trying to comfort my girl and allow her to crush my hand every time a pain bolted through her and sent her spasming. Infections can be no joke. Thankfully, she’s on the mend now but I haven’t quite stepped out of the sexy nurse outfit just yet. And I won’t be using my right hand for anything fun any time soon either.

So naturally, two weeks since my last update pretty much went in the trash. I’ve still got a fair bit done though. I’m still hard at work on Chapter 7. Now 664 renders in, with probably another 400, at a complete guess, to go. The one scene I’m working on right now and have been for about week before we all got ill, has already broken the record for the most amount of renders in a single scene so far. And it’s one of the optional scenes too, so hopefully you haven’t opted out of anything or anyone. I wouldn’t want you to miss a huge chunk of chapter 7, a great scene, a hot girl and a cool power.

I’ve also started selecting music for Chapter 6 and I have already written some of it in. Plus, there are a few sound effects I want to try and acquire and work in to it too. I did my usual of skipping some of the sex scene writing until after the posing, and now I’ve caught up on almost all of that too. I just need to write a few more lines for one more scene that I’m excited for you all to play.

In other news, we’re still steadily growing since the Chapter 5 release, but there’s room for more! I keep eyeing that membership count thinking it’s nearly time for a milestone render, or some kind of special occasion to celebrate 200, but cancellations are outweighing new subs right now, and I can’t see it happening any time soon. So, I call on you guys to help, in any way you can: spread the word, talk about the game in other servers or on reddit, review the game on Itch.io or… other places… whatever you can do is appreciated. I see you guys that are already doing it, and I love you for it.

I’ll close out by saying... it’s Halloween soon. This time last year I only had a handful of supporters in my community, and it didn’t warrant Halloween-themed specials. This year, I’ve gone all out. Starting this Friday until the 31st, there’ll be a horror/spooky-themed special render every day. My favorite one of them is a bit too spicy for Patreon (I think), so you’ll have to enjoy it in the discord instead.
