There's that thing in Russia where they mobilize people and send them as cannon fodder to Ukraine. I've served in military 10 years ago and have a mobilization prescription (which legally binds me to participate in mobilization if it happens).

I've managed to leave the country and go on a vacation to Turkey the day after the mobilization was declared when the border security was not so strict.

Your support has helped me save enough money not only for this vacation that got me out of the harm's way, but also for an emergency fund large enough for us to stay here for quite some time.

I really want to THANK YOU for your support. It has literally saved my life.

We're currently looking for a place to rent and preparing papers for a residence permit. I have my drawing tablet with me, so I can continue drawing, but I don't have any traditional art materials. I'll see if I can buy any locally, but it seems that the art supply market is very poor here.

For now that's all. I'm hoping to start pumping new pages soon!
