Experimenting with Audio Settings [Community Opinion 💡]

Just experimenting a little and trying out different settings... maybe 40 is too low and 100 is too high, maybe there is a good middle - but generally, what do you think of these differences? And are you bothered by the white noise in the background (although I did a little background noise removal on this).

75 gain is the typical sweet spot as pointed out before

2024-04-07 02:27:32 +0000 UTCi liked the higher gain and when you were whispering i was like "is she in my head at this point" LMAO i think people like the sweet spot of around 75% gain and then they adjust a little more/less around there so that would definitely be a good one to test too

2024-04-07 00:14:44 +0000 UTCWhat I notice immediately: - You sound much clearer at 100. I compare 0:20 and 1:50 and you can hear the compression at 40. - Your tingles are much better to hear. From your whisper, to your lip smacking to your popping. Basically everything. - Your mic at 100 is very sensitive to wind. The air you blow out while you talk or whenever you breathe is very loud. Soundproofing or a mic sound shield will help a lot. Also reduce the gain slightly. - Your microphone is very good at picking up your voice from the distance. IMO, you sound a lot better with a higher gain, but you should test out a lower gain at around 80 to 95. Also sound proof your environment so you don't have to worry about white noise and background noise as much. If a sound shield is too heavy, please get a sturdier microphone arm.
