As I wandered through the halls, I couldn't help but wonder: If you could step into any painting or artwork for a day, which one would it be? Share your artistic daydreams in the comments below! 🖼️
And as always, thank you so much for being my muse, my motivation, and my supporters on this incredible journey. I’m so grateful for all of you being my patrons!! Let's make this September one to remember, filled with laughter, learning, and love for what we do! 🍂💫

Oh sneaky! Going into a historical painting to see the history first hand! 😆 That is a good idea though, and what a great time to pick in history too!

2023-09-21 21:42:16 +0000 UTCYes, the great wave of Kanagawa! I think you’re very brave to pick that painting, I’d be terrified haha!! And that deviantart picture looks so amazing, I can see why you wanted to sit beneath that tree and completely relax!

2023-09-21 21:39:36 +0000 UTCThis is more of a cheat but I would like to go into the painting of the made by Raphel, "The school of Athens" to see the old world would be shocking but also fascinating. Life was so much more brutal back then but the ancient world just feels like it never really existed from a modern lens. It just seems so far removed from our more modern world. I'd love to see what it was like then.

2023-09-21 06:53:53 +0000 UTCWell, I can definitely answer both. The museum piece I'm thinking of is a wood block print, the Great Wave of Kanagawa. The image of the boat before the oncoming wave.......It looks like it could be on heck of a ride! As from deviant art, this one is a favorite: https://www.deviantart.com/empyrea1/art/Waterfalls-954037767 I could just imagine sitting beneath that tree with a good book and some food by my side as the water rushes and bubbles through.

2023-09-20 00:01:49 +0000 UTCWell, I did mean for museum artwork, but I’m more than happy to hear your other suggestion ☺️

2023-09-19 15:49:21 +0000 UTCBefore I answer this question, I'd like some clarification: Does the artwork in question have to be museum-worthy and famous or can it be something from Deviant Art?

Such vivid colours and incredible movement, I can see why you like them ☺️ And Lamassu looks otherworldly!! I would have stared at that statue for ages! Thank you for sharing and have a great week too!

2023-09-18 21:47:27 +0000 UTCI absolutely love the museum in my home town. Not to sound weird but I sometimes take an edible before going and I just spend a few hours wandering looking at all the paintings. My favorite are landscapes, just knowing that someone just stood in one spot painting or just drew it off of imagination just baffles me. Also the paintings of people crying weirdly, just how much expression they hold and the way the tears look life like. I just like art is you can’t tell.

2023-09-18 20:16:35 +0000 UTCWell warning cause I'm about to sound like a bit of an art nerd. 😅☝️🤓 When I went to a the Art Institute of Chicago I saw a lot of "American west" themed art by Frederic Remington, and I loved the richness of his colors and his realist style and when I saw his paintings I easily imagined the freedom of that life, but also the toil of a harder time. Also when I was in my early teens I visited the Oriental Art Institute of Chicago and saw a HUGE statue of a "Lamassu"(winged bull with a mans head) dated back to the Assyrian period, almost 3,000 years ago!, and it was that which started my lifelong fascination with history which is what I majored in during university. 😌👌 Anyway... 😅 I hope you have a beautiful week my dear Ophelia! 🐧🤗💞💞💞

2023-09-18 19:29:18 +0000 UTCHello Miss Ophelia! Do the paintings from the game Super Mario 64 count? Haha sorry, just had to be a little silly for a moment. 😄 Anyway, you know those paintings that have Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, etc all together? I'd like to jump into one of those and hang out with the movie stars.

2023-09-18 18:28:46 +0000 UTCI do love these chats - they make me feel so special and loved - I would to spend an entire night in Vincent van Gogh, The Starry Night, painting - to simple just stare at that night sky and fall asleep there would magically poetic to me - I’m glad you enjoyed your museum visit
