I know I'm super late to the Conversation, but the rule of 3 actually takes many forms, not just comedy, and in story telling rule of 3 is usually doing something twice and then putting a spin on the third encounter, as an example, stopping torchwick at the end of V1, stopping torchwick at the end of V2, and then failing to stop torchwick at the end of V3, and it's actually the Grimm taking him out. RWBY is actually FULL of rule of 3 things like this, most of which I can't say cuz of spoilers, and I know it's off topic for gravity falls, but it's the only place I've seen you talk about rule of 3 plus this video is 5mo old, don't think I'm ruining any discussion about the video lol.

Once you tell someone about it they are far more likely to spot it (Obviously Gravity Falls is far more extreme but I think my point still stands). So, I think if you go ahead with Gravity Falls and Casper know the type of things to look out for and he is more likely to spot them and then leave him to it and see how he gets on. I mean, Gravity Falls is a mystery half the fun is solving these things yourself. You could then have a recap episode when you are finished the series to go over anything he missed. I hope if you don’t end up doing Steven Universe you do Gravity Falls I love it so much ♥️

2025-03-14 23:04:18 +0000 UTCAs much as I LOVE Steven Universe, I think this show would be such a good "pallet cleanse" between musical stuff <3 I would still prefer Steven Universe for this pilot week to win and gravity falls coming up next x) <3 But also, YES with Mortius slightly guiding Casper when needed (Might need a little less but nothing major <3) Also I love how many nat20s (Or maybe 19's he got in this first episode xD)
