2025-05-11 15:40:21 +0000 UTCHey i know you said you liked watching it aside Cas, but there is a really good quality slime tutorial at there that you can watch! You can get the full experience (well, as much as you can by watching a video haha) and also watch to see Cas's reactions. I know I'm excited to see his reactions to Act 2 since I know whats coming! Or you could always watch it afterwards, either way, I can link it to you if you'd like :)

2025-03-06 01:17:41 +0000 UTCNot to be that guy, but Judaism isn’t really about emotional repression, like, at all. There are rituals and group prayers for supporting each other through mourning and loss, for example. And the Torah (written and oral) considers sex as a healthy, morally right thing to do. Christians and those raised in Christian cultures mash Christianity and Judaism together a lot in ways that even a cursory knowledge of Judaism renders ridiculous. If one means Christianity and its offshoots, just say that. (I can’t speak to Islam, though. Still, I think specificity is really the best way in this.)

2025-02-21 20:57:55 +0000 UTCOh, and don't forget that the role of Elder McKinley won Rory O'Malley a Tony nomination - and he actually played a character in the Dreamgirls movie who sings a "safe" version of a song by black artists. Cultural appropriation through music - such fun!

2025-02-17 10:38:20 +0000 UTCThe Donny Osmond reference actually has another layer! He grew up in a Mormon family and was part of the band The Osmonds - they started out doing more folksy stuff, but then pivoted towards motown/R&B music because... They were marketed as the white Jackson 5. So not only is Price referencing a Mormon artist, but also a white artist playing black music while talking about a blond-haired blue-eyed voice of God to an audience of black Ugandans. Chef's kiss - no notes. (Also, another white artist who gained fame by playing black music? Elvis Presley.)

2025-02-17 10:31:49 +0000 UTCHaha. Usually it's Mortius like "no no casper.. " and Casper like "but I'm gonna". To see it reversed is so hilariously accurate right now. Unhinged Mortius is hilarious and we feel ya on that one.
