That was an amazing reaction. 👏 I loved Casper's theory on Bruno with the D.I.D I honestly can't wait for Nightmare Before Christmas. It is my absolute favourite Halloween/Christmas movie ever. 😊😄

2024-09-28 21:03:52 +0000 UTCJust a darker aspect of the movie I want to point out. Given what Abuela went through, look at the peoples powers. The triplets got, Healing, Telling the Future, Controlling the weather. Things that would be life saving if, say, your home were to be invaded again. Bruno could warn of danger, Julieta could heal the wounded, Pepa could give them clear weather to travel, assist with crop growth, slow down any pursuers. Then the next generation, Isabella can grow crops and trees for building, Luisa can do manual labor and (Really dark) FIGHT and Protect. Camilo can disguise himself to, maybe, evade capture/help people who get captured. Dolores can hear people approaching from very far away if Bruno doesn't have a vision. Antonio can, sadly, again heard animals in as food, or befriend jungle animals to protect them. Literally all of the magical powers would be immensely helpful in preventing what happened to Pedro from happening again.

Her feelings towards Hamilton where an interpretation to my knowledge. Tho the "my dearest," was actually in one of her letters. So yeah, it's similar, but only the musical version

The way he introduces characters and plot points with the song makes it so memerable while pushing the narrative foward and being a good song is insane.

2024-09-05 04:34:21 +0000 UTCgreat format, the timer is super helpful. im new to the movie watch along analysis scene and i have to say it makes movies more enjoyable for me (im not a huge movie watcher in general). agree with one of the other commenters, an audible "stop" or "pause" would help when you were ending, sometimes i let my movie keep going as i didnt know you had stopped. a count down before you hit play would be good too.

For improvement I would recommend saying "stop" or "pause" like you do in reaction videos in the epic musical. I know I struggled to always catch when you paused the video to chat. I guess that mortious has pumpkin (it's the base for a lot of my vegetable soups ) It wasn't mentioned in this video but the time period that abuela lived through is called la violencia and it was a ten year civil war due to political struggles between two political parties (one had the support of the military forces and the other the support of the national police). The smaller towns were raided by opposing political armies (the military or the police but there were also guerrial groups as well) that would attack other towns due to their perceived political stance. Documentation of this time is fractured and rare due to so much being destroyed. It's estimated that 200 000 civilians lost their lives between 1947 and 1960. This is not counting the 15 000 rebels against the groups causing damage and the about 9000 soldiers and police officers and paramilitaries that died in this war. This war killed so much of our people (fellow Colombian here) and it had left a lot of generational trauma in our entire country. I think most if not all of our countrymen were affected in some way of what happened during those years.
