Synopsis: The scope of God's in this world, as defined by the elves, is not a biological definition but rather a loose title given to beings with significant social credit. God's can range from the smallest reputable beings who provide small assistance such as better sleep or minor whispers of good advice.That is the mortal definition of God.
God's definition of God's is very strict.
Those in the status of godhood are those who survive the initiative process of elimination by the current pantheon. God's seek to destroy others in the position of power but are only stopped by the consequence of conflict between themselves and the other being.
The Taboo of God kings: Kings of lengthy rule refrain from claiming godhood as a long history denoted by the elves show that this attracts the attention of beings of the pantheon. The rare instance of kings shouting "... or shall God strike me dead" is usually punctuated by forces succinct and deadly cutting their rule short.
Modern relationship with the pantheon: As populations have grown, the list of beings at risk from godwrath has shrunk but those wise and powerful enough to acknowledge the pantheon know to avoid heresy... just for good luck.
Nomo VS Kaz Karden: God's on the pantheon are not always of the same species. Two such examples are Kaz Karden and Nomo. Kaz Karden is the offspring of the titan Hydrafell and Nomo, the portion of a full greater titan. Less powerful beings with much more motivation. In a sense, both divine beings are far more powerful than their predecessors due to their weakness and insecurity.
