Big Brew Scene 02 Part 2, 04/08/25

Greetings, SizeCitizens!
I have completed animation on scene 02 now, as well as done a pass of sound design. I still need to get some non-dialogue noises recorded from the Voice Artist. After the whole short is finished, I'm thinking of composing some music to go under it, so if it sounds a bit bare in places, don't worry!

Scene 02 was a lot more involved than I had previously anticipated. The location changes, the multiple characters in a shot, as well as the mocap cleanup, all threw up hurdles that needed me to figure out how to tackle them.
However, the next 2 scenes should be more straightforward. Scene 03 is a conversation back and forth scene with 2 characters each in their own location. Should be straightforward. Scene 04 is a lateral tracking move, with some foreground and background elements that might take some figuring out, but I'm more confident now that I have Scene 02 out of the way.
The scene I've been working on next is scene 03, and I'll have more progress to share soon!

I have made a start, but looking at it, there are a few ways to go about it, either with geometry nodes or physics cages. The standard method seems to be physics cages, so I'm currently trying to learn how to make them and make them look good inbetween other work I'm doing and finishing this animation haha.
