Also let's remember where we first saw Saw. A random story arc in Clone Wars, remember? Where he and his sister were running a rebel crew against a Separatist planted King on their planet. Ahsoka was there to train them in secret and her "crush" was there as well. In the final battle Saw accidentally killed his sister, who was the leader of their rebellion, while he was fighting and ultimately winning their war. Remember that and listen to his speech again at the end about Rhydonium being his "sister". His grief and guilt from that day is what really broke his mind. He won that rebellion but lost his sister. That's why he has nothing left to lose and will go to any lengths to win this rebellion. Awesome how a random character from a one-off story arc in Clone Wars has been elevated into such a nuanced character portrayed by an AMAZING actor. I love Clone Wars. :) For anyone interested it's Clone Wars episodes 502-504.

Forest Whitaker is a great actor but he's never been better than in this! OMG, every time he's on screen it's captivating. The entire cast are amazing, Luthen, Mon, etc... But Forest 100% deserves an emmy for not just this season but last season too.
