Midnight mass and fall of the house of usher are also made by the same guy, and both shows are absolutely exceptional. Midnight mass holds a special place in my heart because it’s religious horror at its best, and done in the most respectful way for other faiths involved.

If you find you've enjoyed this enough to dip into Bly Manor, I'd very much recommend his other series'; Midnight Mass, Fall of the House of Usher and The Midnight Club. Some of the best TV I've seen over the last few years.

Carla Gugino who plays the mom is this, is phenomenal in house of usher. Also the younger dad is Elliott from the movie E.T

This, Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, Fall of the House of Usher are all phenomenal miniseries that he wrote and directed. His films are also great, Oculus, Hush, Ouija 2, Gerald’s Game, Doctor Sleep are all excellent. He’s up there with James Wan in my opinion as a modern day horror master.

People call this the mike Flanagan universe he just directed multiple spooky series for Netflix so you’ve got Bly Manor, Midnight Mass and last Year, the fall of the house of usher, plus the midnight club. He also is the director for Hush which is an amazing horror movie if you haven’t seen it
