STAR WARS EPISODE III – REVENGE OF THE SITH (2005) FULL REACTION

Comments

But on the Tales of the Jedi series, tells about Dooku when he was a young man before Palpatine got to him to join him (Palpatine), and also tells about Ahsoka, about from when she was born and other things

Dannyman

I'm mean if one wants to think things happen with 0 evidence that aren't in the script, sure.

The cut and the bottle of Mountain Dew teleporting into Joe's hand

Raymond Terry

I don't know if this is what officially happened but in my mind I always thought Padme didn't "lose the will to live" but rather that Palpatine killed her through some dark side shit as a way to keep Anakin alive during his surgery/transformation into the Vader that we know from the OT. I think the way they mirror those scenes (Padme's last breath happening right before Vader's first in the suit) kind of supports this, but it would also be a good pay off to how Palpatine tells Anakin he can keep someone alive through the dark side.

Y’all just HAD to drop it the night I could drink alcohol. (I can’t drink often because of my job). I was an emotional wreck with this! 😫

Totally agree. Look no further than The Clone Wars. Still pretty much "his vision" but in the hands of people with a bit more skill in areas he lacks. Let's face it he's awesome for creating this universe we all love and like I said he's great at worldbuilding but as most of us know by now he simply took elements from other works like Dune, Seven Samurai, Christianity, etc... and he built an incredible story. I think you're right though that had simply produced the prequels and advised people on what his vision was while letting them craft the films in a more compelling and consistent way the prequels would've have been MUCH better and better received. At least TCW redeemed them though through it's deep and substantial storytelling and giving the fans backstory and context.

Ooohhh, I see. I guess I missed the Ahsoka arc and didn't go back far enough. I see them now. Thanks! And glad to hear they were fully caught up before ROTS! I'll check those out before I get around to watching this.

Greg Norman

They did, they watched the first two episodes of the bad batch arc first by accident, then went back and watched all 4 ahsoka’s arc episodes, and then finished the last 2 of the bad batch arc. They’re all uploaded as of right now

Spencer Allen

Hey all, did the guys skip the second CW S7 arc before watching ROTS? I think they might have jumped the gun on ROTS chronologically, and need to catch up on one more Ahsoka story arc before the final Siege arc concurrent with ROTS. I also know they watched that second arc cause they put a short reaction clip on YouTube, but I figured that was recorded before this. I don't think it'll really hurt the chronological experience, but I think it would have been great to see them go straight from this to the concurrent Siege story.

Greg Norman

I still appreciate the prequels a lot, but I wish George hadn't felt like he had to direct them himself to get them done the way he wanted to fulfill his vision. If his vision and the story and performance execution could have come together, they'd be absolute classics.

Greg Norman

There was a great fan work a bunch of years ago from Vader's point of view, and the final entry was after talking to Luke in RotJ and right before taking him before Palpatine, and his last thought is "Maybe I don't have to die a slave..." Killed me.

Greg Norman

Please react to the version of Obi Wan vs Anakin in the style of The Clone Wars (its on youtube: CLONE WARS: BATTLE OF THE HEROES - A Star Wars Fan Animation)

Bad Batch should be next because it's IMMEDIATELY after the events of Clone Wars.

darrell glover

It's sad when you realize that Anakin was a freed slave and he was manipulated into being a slave again because wanted to save the only 2 people that weren't trying to use him for an agenda.

Volume

I needed this today. Awesome!! 🙌🏻 And exactly a month before Legend of Vox Machina Season 3 comes out. This is a sign for great times ahead 🙏🏻

Mandy Sherratt

The more you watch the stuff before the disney sequel the more you're gonna hate the new movies

General Krell said the Republic would be torn apart from the inside and a new order would rise. He knew from a vision, but didn't understand. Now you see what it meant. I think he also knew something was off about the clones from his vision and feared them and sought to wipe them out. He also misuderstood the vision and thought it meant the separtist would win and republic loose instead of both sides loosing, so he wanted to be on the winning side, with Doouku.

Jaylight

I thought episode 7 of the sequel trilogy was good but 8 and 9 were ass. Still would love to see your reactions either positive or negative.

Carson French

I hope y'all watch the original trilogy after Rebels too

Man what a great watch! So much I could talk about here but I'll try to keep it short. Totally agree with you both about how much better the prequels are now thanks to The Clone Wars. I'll go further and say TCW SAVED the prequels. Except ROTS the prequels, aside from the worldbuilding, were pretty rough. George Lucas is a genius in many ways but as a director and script writer he's definitely lacking. Now worldbuilding and character development along with his technical brilliance in sound design and special effects he's a special guy. But writing dialog and in particular directing actors are not his strong suit. That's why the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi are better films than A New Hope (I mean it's still great but even he admits he doesn't like directing). He let other people handle most of the writing and all the directing. Also in terms of Palpatine, yeah I agree and I strongly believe he implanted those nightmares in Anakin's head and I'd even go further and say he may have coordinated Anakin's mother's death AND/OR even impregnated her with the Force just to create a perfect Sith Apprentice. If you think about it he even says how Darth Plagueis (Palpatine's master if that's not obvious) discovered a way to even "create life". I think that's a strong theory because as Ani's mother said "there was no father". Just sayin'... Hope everyone enjoyed this as much as I did. Oh and P.S. - You'll get much MUCH more out of the final 4 episodes of TCW and then even MORE during Rebels than re-watching Kenobi. That's all I can say but if people saw Rebels, they'll understand what I mean. Oh and sorry... I guess I didn't "keep it short", huh? 🤣
