You are right ofc. Three is the magic number ^^ And I mean I get why you would want to watch rebels and ahsoka after. I guess they need to decide if they continue going chronologically or if they jump around a bit in time. At the end of the day the boys are the ones that need to be the ones deciding, because it is their journey we are getting to share with them. =)

2024-08-21 19:34:19 +0000 UTCChronologically "Bad Batch" directly picks off at the same events as the next four episodes and the movie. And I could not recommend anything else more than that show with its lovely two seasons and awesome story! Would love to see that soon! Especially since the second and last season only came out a few months ago

2024-08-20 20:06:46 +0000 UTCI stay away from videos trying to simplify all modern things into one box. Would never watch that and don't agree with that sentiment, personally. While I have my issues with the new Star Wars Sequel trilogy, there's many blockbusters movies and tv shows released recently that have a genuine sincerity. All 3 Guardians of the Galaxy films had me tearing up at certain scenes. Not all Hollywood films are Star Wars and Comic Book films. Avatar 2 almost had me in tears as well. I don't play the whole modern vs old game with film criticism. There's too much rose-tinted glasses when looking back on older films and selective tunnel vision when looking at negativity in newer films from those people. This year I saw Mad Max Furiosa, Hit Man and Kingdom of Planet of the Apes and I really genuinely enjoyed those films personally.

2024-08-20 11:07:04 +0000 UTCYeah when Trench said, "you're a jedi" and Anakin responded, "I don't have such weaknesses", that shows how close he is to the edge. What he's seen in war, the corruption in the Senate, the missteps and failures of the Jedi Order in particular them turning their back and not trusting Ahsoka leading to her withdrawl, not to mention his past, his mother and of course the mental manipulation his "mentor and friend" Palpatine has been putting him through for years... it really helps make it more believable that a truly heroic figure like Anakin could lose himself to anger and frustration.

2024-08-20 04:42:39 +0000 UTCI just watched a youtube video called "Sincerity: Hollywood's Forgotten Currency" and it focused on how a lot of newer films are just missing something and turns out it's sincerity. Authenticity and not being afraid to take itself and the audience's emotions seriously. He contrasts the LOTR films and how they didn't always break the fourth wall or use comedy to subvert any honest emotional moments and how films like The Last Jedi (ugh, one of the worst films of all time) constantly used cheap, misplaced humor to cut through any moments in the story that dared to creep into real human emotion. I always complained about the sequels and how the humor in them felt so cheap and out of place but still couldn't put my finger on why the rest of the film felt so shallow and failed to capture my heart and imagination but that guy's video nailed it. Older great films were not afraid to be sincere in their emotional journeys and we as the audience didn't feel stupid or tricked by losing ourselves in the story. Whereas nowadays when you do try to lose yourself and open your heart to a modern story it turns around and slaps you in the face with some cheap joke or modern reference to take you out of the immersion entirely and you feel foolish for trusting the writers in the first place. It's made us all a bit more cynical as an audience because we're scared of having the emotional rug pulled out from beneath us again. It's sad but hopefully Hollywood learns. BTW, it's a great video and I highly recommend checking it out.

2024-08-20 04:09:42 +0000 UTCAnakin has already been dwindling to the Dark Side throughout the whole show, but man, him and Trench was actually super ominous. Other than the music cues, Trench tried to save himself by saying he's a Jedi, and they can't just torture people, and Anakin responded with "I don't have such weaknesses!" Not only has he disobeyed the Code time and time again, but now he's so pissed off and he even sees the Jedi and their beliefs as a weakness. That is NOT good π like he's drifting further and further away. Anakins trust in the Jedi just got shattered after Ahsoka being expelled. He's just done with all their beliefs. Now he even looks down upon it. Shit be scary π¨

2024-08-20 02:05:07 +0000 UTCIt's hilarious how people call it failed(not sure which part failed), yet millions of little kids love Rey, Finn, and Poe, and will love them as adults just as we did with the prequels. Critics who were my age now, 40, when I was 21 and watched AOTC or ROTS for the first time either hated or barely tolerated the Prequel Films. History repeating.

2024-08-20 01:37:42 +0000 UTCNo problem yeah I rather they do that cause it fits well with the immersion but it may be confusing just doing 1 episode and switchin to movie upload then doing 3 more episodes but yeah Id recommend that to cause u can just fit it within the story. Honestly it be lit if they react to genndy tartakovsky clone wars

2024-08-19 22:35:44 +0000 UTCIt's weird to say but I think the failure of the new Sequel trilogy was the best thing that could happen to George Lucas' films. I do believe the Sequel trilogy could have greatly surpassed the first 6 films, which is what I wanted so bad. BUT since they failed, it allows us to appreciate Lucas' vision a lot more. And we can see how hard he worked in areas that the new filmmakers didn't even try. Because seeing how dark Anakin got in this episode actually perfectly ties in to Revenge of the Sith. I'm actually excited to revisit a film that came out 18 years ago which I've seen dozens of times. That can only happen with a genuinely good film and it makes me appreciate Lucas even more.

2024-08-19 20:38:01 +0000 UTCWait, I was trying to edit my comment and it posted by accident. This is my full comment: Theyβre doing Revenge of the Sith first, then 9,10,11,12. Though personally, my ideal order would be Ep 9 βOld Friends Not Forgottenβ Then Revenge of the Sith Then 10,11,12. Because most of Ep 9 is before Revenge of the Sith, while 10,11,12 are concurrent. But I can understand not wanting to break up the four-episode set.

2024-08-19 20:24:40 +0000 UTCIf yall read this I really recommend watching episode 9 and 10 for season 7 then revenge of the sith before episode 11 and 12 for chronoligcal order. Or to be honest watch revenge of the sith before ep 9 and 10 since they happen at the same time Love yall work
