2024-08-21 23:33:36 +0000 UTCAlso, if it's not obvious, "Bad Batch" and the "99" in Clone Force 99 are both homages to "99" from the cadets arc. He was also referred to as a "bad batcher" in a derogatory way. The old handicapped fella who wasn't ever able to serve but in the end gave his life for his brothers and also taught Domino Squad (Hevy, Cutup, Droidbait, Fives and Echo) how to become a true team. Pretty cool. Also those 5 were more or less our narrative anchor into the lives of the numerous clone troopers and all 5 of which died... or did they???

I always said, besides the original trilogy, NOTHING has done more to elevate and expand the Star Wars universe more than The Clone Wars (and Rebels, etc). CW/Rebels/BB, Rogue One and Andor, and the first 2 seasons of Mando have brought me so much joy.
