2024-05-01 19:07:07 +0000 UTCSo for those who didn't figure out what Magneto was doing after he was released, he went to the North Pole. The highest concentration of the Earth's magnetic field is found in the North and South pole. By going there, Magneto's powers of magnetism would be amplified tremendously. This is what essentially happens in X-Men comic arc "Fatal Attractions" (FYI that was the comic arc where Magneto uses his amplified power to control Colossus, rip Cable in half, and tear the adamantium from Wolverine's bones damn near killing him). And this is why he's an Omega Level Mutant.
