2024-04-05 13:29:58 +0000 UTCThe Spider-Man parody here is called Agent Spider and the villain he was fighting was called Prof Ock. The scene was a reference to the brief Invincible/Spider-Man crossover in the comics, which happened to take place during the comic version of these same events in the series. There was no way in hell Marvel/Sony would ever let Amazon use Spider-Man for one of their shows, which unlike a lot of people, I figured would be the case. So Kirkman decided to parody the character entirely with Agent Spider (since he couldn’t use the real thing) just for the moment in this episode. The voice for Agent Spider is Josh Keaton, who has voiced Spider-Man in a couple different things (Spectacular Spider-Man, the Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions video game, reprising his role in Across the Spider Verse, to name a few).

Just like humans we love our pets but most the time they pass b4 we do. That's why he said maybe it would have been better if Mark hadn't gotten his powers bcause if he hadn't he would have just kept living normal until they passed and then would have taken over the world.
