Con crud. Get some vitamin C and chug it, will kill a lot of the symptoms.

But both creatives didn’t intend for revenge of the sith or clone wars to be spliced with it for a first time viewing. Clone wars is an add on to the prequels. Not a seamless blend. So it’s a disservice to watch both for the first time together, it comes across as a compilation rather then a piece of art, as cool as it is for the fans as an idea, it’s not a replacement for watching both.

Aiden Karst Daugherty

I feel the same as everyone else, please don’t watch the cut together version, it’s just not as good as watching rots first and then those last 4 episodes of clonewars.. Also I wouldn’t be able to watch along either as I don’t have that version, and it could be the same for other members too. 😁👍🤞🤞

Mandy Sherratt

I just watched the cut with ROTS + Clone Wars + Bad Batch and I think it works up until around half way. When certain events happen it is kind of jarring. I am also with others and saying y'all should re-consider. Perhaps watch ROTS first and then the last four episodes of Season 7 of Clone Wars. I'll watch either way.

Long series but hell yeah! Loved that show and it's got a great cult following. "You know that's right!"

Wayleran

You guys should react to psych

Matthew Poth

Are you guys going to be starting Book 3 of Avatar soon?

Jeremy Hyora

You should watch Revenge of the Sith before then the last 4 episodes of Clone Wars thennn go back and rewatch it using the ultimate edition, or you are not going to get the same experience and tension with all the anticipation built up and even the way the title cards and intros are in the Clone Wars show are going to be for those 4 episodes

Jaylight

Yep release order is the best way to watch it

Jesse S

Yep 100%

Jesse S

Please guys I highly recommend just watching clone wars in release order

Jesse S

IMO I wouldn’t watch the ultimate edition first. It’s good if u want to go back after finishing clone wars to see it all tied together but it doesn’t flow well at all. Without spoiling, one of the last and most important episodes uses pacing and tension really well and I feel that watching a version that switches between two different productions will just take away from how good they are because they were meant to be watched on their own. Like I said, it’s cool to see it all tied together and see what’s happening at the same time across the galaxy with other characters, but for a first time experience, l would 100% watch them separately. Obviously it’s up to you to decide for yourself and it’s not the end of the world if you watch it all together but that’s just my opinion. Can’t wait to see your reaction regardless

Jack

For context since you guys are MCU fans, it'd be like someone watching Infinity War for the first time and it's a fan edit with all the blip scenes from Hawkeye, Far From Home and Wandavision included at the end. It sounds cool in theory but it kind of takes away from the shows

Jyn Jilly

I'm with Aiden as well, I get that some people like to see how new fans react to the connected content. The connections made for those who have already seen the shows and movies separately.

Jyn Jilly

Yeah it definitely interrupts the flow of both when they're spliced together. It makes for an interesting second time viewing but not a good first.

Paul V.

That's not how Season 7 was meant to be watched, that's just how it ended up being released. Season 7 is a direct continuation of the rest of the series with no knowledge of Rebels required for proper viewing. I agree with Aiden in imploring them to reconsider watching the movie by itself first and then the four episodes. The ultimate cut sounds nice in theory but it's very jarring cutting between two very different styles. Definitely not recommended for a first time viewing.

Paul V.

I'm also in the mindset of you guys watching Revenge of the Sith and then the last 4 episodes of Clone Wars together like they're a movie. I feel like it's such an epic conclusion to the Clone Wars that you guys would be doing a disservice to yourselves getting an extremely watered down version of it due to watching a super cut. There would be so much tension and story progression you wouldn't even get to experience because someone would essentially cut highlights out of the episodes and so much impact would be lost. And not just that, the first episode of the Bad Batch is about an hour long. Why choose to skip out on so much content for the sake of watching a couple scenes mixed in with the movie you know? The choice will be yours ultimately but I think watching a supercut would really ruin the first time viewing experience. Yall would miss out on so much.

Volume

I think the Ultimate addition is actually a good idea. While yes maybe watching separately makes it a more genuine experience, by that logic we have to watch Rebels before we go on to season 7 since that's the way it was meant to be watched. Same thing with all the other shows that have been up. No shame in going into it with a different experience.

BlackDevil1942

I would totally rather y’all watch it in release order honestly, the clone wars episodes are made for those who have already seen revenge of the sith and watching them all separately is a much better first time experience. Please reconsider 🙏🏽

Yall + Drax's hard work is much appreciated! Update for Avatar Book 3? Will the episodes still drop on Saturdays? Thanks!

Tiava T

Love your reactions, please feel better and possibly watch hazbin hotel with Joe and Jaime 🖤

Jordan Evans

Can’t wait for your rots clone wars reaction

SpongeGlock

The "Pax Pox" is a helluva thing! Glad they had fun.

Wayleran

Without spoiling anything, the last four episodes of Clone Wars really play off the fact that the viewers have already seen Revenge of the Sith; the pacing and tone are excellent with this. I've never seen the ultimate edition cut, and I'm curious how it handles shifting between the two sources while keeping things smooth. Glad you're feeling better!

Sarah

Welcome back and get better Drew! And shout out to Drax (sp?) for holding it down.

Mel8235

Avatar?

Jordy

You cant tease us with a bad batch name drop like this 🥵

Hindruck

Glad to hear you’re doing better, wish I could’ve met ya when you were in boston, I love watching your vids! The ROTS ultimate addition is an awesome watch for the culmination of order 66 and the ending of clone wars you’ll enjoy it a lot, perfectly edited!

Antonio Kelley

Appreciated the update fam!! Looking forward to more Shogun and hopefully we get that ATLA book 3 reaction tomorrow 🤞

Mehdi R.

Oh, very interesting way of watching ROTS. I know there was an edit for that, but never watched it and definitely have never seen someone react to it. I can’t wait.
