Carson French

Still gets me that when Ahsoka leaves the chambers and Anakin goes after her, Obi-Wan goes to follow but Plo tugs him back on his shoulder.

Now that we're here I can finally say it... THE JEDI ARE FOOLS! Yoda, Mace, all of them except maybe Anakin and Obi-wan (who I think it's implied never lost faith in Ashoka, maybe Plo Koon also). Let's look at the facts. The most powerful Sith Lord, perhaps EVER, Palpatine conspired and plotted for DECADES right under their noses and those Jedi "Masters" could never sense it, not even the most foolish of them all, Yoda. Their arrogance and complacency made them weak and unable to even conceive that the Galaxy and the Order were both at risk. Even Dooku left Yoda's side because no one would heed his warnings that the Order was so vulnerable and needed better preparations against the Dark Side and that the Galactic Republic was corrupt and rotten at it's core. At least, while misguided, he tried to fight that corruption by leading the Seperatist Movement but inevitably became a victim to the lure of the Dark Side itself. This is why, as far as I'm concerned, Ashoka is one of the truest Jedi in Star Wars lore. She wasn't as aggressive as Anakin, nor was see as short-sighted and dogmatic as Obi-wan or Yoda. She represented true balance yet when she needed them most the Order abandoned her. Further solidifying their hubris. Barriss may have been wrong to commit murder but she was right to call into question what the Jedi Order had become.

Also, shout out to Charles Murray because it could not be me. To be a new writer on the team, and then to be the one to write THIS arc, which wasn't just a season finale, but an unofficial series finale. Bravo to him. Once again, shout to Kevin Kiner. The man really flew all the way to Prague, on his dime, to get the orchestra that did the movie to score these final episodes. I hope Lucas took some of the $4B he got from Disney and reimbursed Keiner. The VA's, once again were amazing. This episdoe was all Matt and Ashley. And shout out to Filoni, for plotting behind George's back to have the end theme changed for the final episode in this arc. lol

Where to begin... I said that if the thought of Padme dying was the nail in the coffin for Anakin, then Ahoska leaving was the coffin. For 3 episodes that man has just been running around. I know he didn't eat, sleep, shower, nothing. What's really interesting is that he actually did the "right" thing. He was following procedures and he put his faith in the Jedi council that they would do the right thing, and we saw the end result. For me, FOR ME, I feel like this episode deaded the whole Tarkin and Vader were friends conversation that I've seen pop up a couple of times across the internet. I've said many times that Vader just tolerated Tarkin because of Palpatine. If he could have he would have snapped that man's neck a long time ago. As far as I'm concerned Anakin's pettiness lived on in Vader. I always said some of Vader's kills were personal. The hit list was being made since here, and Mace getting his hand chopped off in ROTS makes a lot more sense now,. I really felt bad for Ventress she had no way of defending herself, and Anakin just unleashed all his anger on her. And for someone that needed information from Ventress, Anakin almost cut her in half. It's a good thing she's agile. Correct me if I'm wrong, I think this is the last time we see Ventress in The Clone Wars series. Bariss v. Anakin is not one of the best fights, but there's a beauty in it I really love. I don't even know how they were fighting in that little shoe box room. And I know that first kick hurt. I like that the Temple guards, who I mistook for statues several times, were ready to capture Bariss, which means that Anakin more than likely told them what was up before he went to see Bariss, another example of him doing shit the "right" way. Plokoon and Obi-wan needed to say shit with their chest in defense of Ahsoka. They were talking too soft for me. I'm with Joe, I would have some choice words for several of those jedis on my way out. I feel like Ahsoka might have considered staying had it just been Anakin (who didn't need to apologize) and Plokoon to speak. The minute that Taurus looking dude started talking and they tried to spin what they had done, it was a wrap, you could see on her face she was over it. And the "I know" at the end was her talking about Anakin and Padme. At some point she figured out they were together, probalby after the Rebels arc earlier in the season, but not the secret marriage (I think only Palpatine knew that), but she knew they were together.

Yeah this really marks the beginning of the end. This whole ordeal shows how far the Jedi really have fallen. Barriss was completely right. The Jedi have grown arrogant, and have become hypocrites. Think about it. They literally are doing the bidding of The Sith, being completely manipulated by Palpatine the whole time and they never knew. The Jedi were so quick to turn against her, then someone like Mace, who is supposed to be at the top of the food chain, being Yodas 2nd, saying that this was actually "good" for her. That this actually helped Ahsoka change into a better person. Incredibly arrogant and just an asshole way of thinking. They have stopped being peacekeepers, and have become machines of war. The saddest part is what this does to Anakin. Its not her fault, but Ahsoka left him alone, and heartbroken. This only further drives a wedge between him and the Jedi, like you guys said. He trusts them even less now that they've just turned their backs and were so cold towards their own. How can Anakin really put faith in them, or even the light side, moving forward? This was another big step for Anakins fall to the Dark Side as well. He is growing more and more emotional, relying on the dark side further. It's this perfect storm of terrible things happening, that leads to the tragic events in Episode 3. Season 6 and 7 are so damn insane, I can't wait for you guys to reach the final stretch of this peak show!

Crazy part was, at one time this was the series finale, before the lost episodes aired on Netflix, and before the final season on disney+

Dylan Cave

after season 6, you guys should watch the season 7 trailer that released back in july 2018, the “clone wars saved” trailer (reaction or no reaction). the level of hype that surrounded that trailer dropping is still to this day rarely matched, and really sets the mood going into the final season. keep up the great work as always 👍
