2024-03-01 08:47:39 +0000 UTCI'm disappointed so far. It looks great, but the movie is better at this point.

2024-02-24 01:22:58 +0000 UTCVery skeptical of Netflix and hope I'm wrong but they occasionally interfere with the creative process. Either way nothing will change our love for the original series. I'll keep an open mind though.

2024-02-23 05:59:08 +0000 UTCHey bud hopefully I can help you out. First check the bottom right buttons on the Struggle react when you start it. There's a "Picture in Picture" option that will put a small "ALWAYS-ON-TOP" window in the lower right corner of your screen. Then simply open the show/movie in another tab in your browser or video player app if you're using Blu-ray etc. and you should have the main video with the small overlay of the reaction. The tricky part is syncing up the two videos. What I do is look for a distinct "keystone" image from the video, for instance as soon as you see the "N" in Netflix appear OR as soon as you see the opening image from the show pop up, pause the video and play the reaction and time it so when the small thumbnail in the beginning of the reaction gets to the point you paused the video quickly un-pause and you should get it very close to synced up within a few milliseconds. BTW you can do this for any other video site like Youtube etc. even though there's no visible Picture in Picture button by using Chome's built-in feature in the upper right corner of the browser. When you play a video there's a button with a music note and in that panel when you press it there's a PiP button. Hope this helps.

2024-02-23 03:57:25 +0000 UTCHey guys, does anyone know how to watch this reaction alongside the actual show? I'm confused how to do it...

2024-02-22 20:42:15 +0000 UTCOh yeah another problem: They changed Aang's reason for not being at the temple. In the original he ran away and got caught in the storm. In this version, he was just flying to clear his head. That changes Aang's whole character because they have a whole episode showing how guilty he feels for running away. Okay maybe this wasn't good lol I want to think there are positives but there are a lot of problems.

2024-02-22 20:31:51 +0000 UTCI'm glad Drew was honest about some changes that felt off. I felt the same way but I agree overall it was good. And I'm watching this along with yall so I haven't seen the whole season yet. I'm an Avatar and One Piece fan and to me this is better than the One Piece live action already. The best part of this is how the world and the bending looks visually. Everything else like the writing and acting is honestly average but not too bad yet. Some changes I straight up don't like: Aang flying is the biggest problem for me. The scene of Uncle Iroh and Aang was unnecessary and actually takes away from Iroh's character for me. It makes him seem unsure of his motivations for serving the fire nation when confronted by an 12 year old. Where as the original it seems the Uncle was very thoughtful and certain in all his decisions. Even if he had issues with what his brother was doing. Sokka and Katara's village looks too big in this, personally. There was something epic to me about how a tiny village finding the Avatar. Also Sokka being the only teenage male in the original made it more small, where as here they have another guy slightly younger. And the imagery in the cartoon of the Zuko's ship being so massive compared to their tiny village was epic. In my opinion at least. I know that sounds like a nitpick. Starting the story with Sozin and Aang 100 years ago was a weird way to introduce the story. I liked the mystery of the original where we first see Aang through Katara and Sokka's perspective. Finding out Aang's air temple was killed before Aang finds out kind of lessens the impact when he finds out. But again, I didn't hate it. I think Katara, Sokka, and Aang's casting is pretty great. And I think the visuals make it worth watching for any Avatar fan so far.
