When Qui-Gon, Padme and Jar Jar are first entering Mos Espa (when Jar Jar steps in it) there's a group of them acting like tourists in the background. You later see another in the pod race (Ratts Tyerell), he's the one that dies in that fireball. And there's actually a deleted scene with his wife and their kids ("Complete Podrace Grid Sequence").
