Yep. I love your perspective as well. :)

2023-09-05 01:32:27 +0000 UTCOr like it said, she realizes he has flaws and accepts him for what he is, which is something most people, especially adults, have a hard timing doing with others. Let’s not forget Ahsoka and Anakin have similar personalities - actually everybody under the line of Yoda share similar qualities. And at this point she’s probably tired of the criticism of him. A critique on him is indirectly a critique of her. Your interpretation isn’t wrong and neither is mine. We just view it differently.

2023-09-04 14:48:34 +0000 UTCAnd now you are starting to really see why us Clone Wars/Rebels fanatics love these shows so much. They are IMHO the richest source of Star Wars lore and worldbuilding in the entire catalog of material. Not to diminish the films and books etc... but these animated series encapsulate and expound upon the galaxy in such a beautiful way. And this is only just the beginning.

2023-09-04 08:30:36 +0000 UTCWell I'd also put it this way. Obi-wan is more like the older brother who's rational and has perspective and wisdom so he sees the flaws more clearly and is worried about and FOR Anakin. Ashoka on the other hand is like the younger sister who idolizes her big brother, or in this case her teacher and mentor. She's much less likely to truly see dangers of some of the things Anakin does because her youth makes her much more impressionable.

2023-09-04 08:25:24 +0000 UTCEh I mean sure but still it's a feat that no other person could've done. So the fact that Anakin could call upon the Force to that level to tame both of them is still pretty much unmatched.

2023-09-04 01:24:16 +0000 UTCAlthough don't forget what Obi-Wan said to him "The Planet is the force, use it". It was a combination that Anakin was the chosen one and that he was in a place where the force was heightened, perhaps like intersecting Ley lines or something

2023-09-04 00:12:23 +0000 UTCIt's awesome to hear Liam Neeson again but also really cool to hear the actress who played Anakin's mother return

2023-09-03 23:47:10 +0000 UTCOne more thing, I love that when it comes to discussing Anakin's personality you see the contrast between Obi-Wan and Ahsoka. Obi-wan see's Anakin's flaws as a negative, or something concerning, where as Ahsoka doesn't. She knows he has flaws, but she realizes that's just a part of his personality.

2023-09-03 23:39:45 +0000 UTCI liked this arc when I first saw, but I didn't fully appreciate it until after I watched another show. This is the one arc where there was not that much information given for the BTS by Filloni and Co which was intentional. Yes that was Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon and Pernilla August as Shmi Skywalker. Damn, Qui-Gon could have at least asked Obi-Wan how he was doing. Ahsoka wanting to fight her future self...I keep saying it the attachment goes both ways. I'm going to keep saying it because people think it's just Anakin. Also, I don't agree with everything that was said in Ashoka's vision. Also, I'm happy Anakin told us what his actual fear is. Everybody keep saying attachment issues, but that's just the side effect of his fear. A truth be told, Anakin has a full blown phobia, but unfortunately in that world mental health doesn't exists.

2023-09-03 23:05:26 +0000 UTCThis is probably the biggest moment in Star Wars. Anakin just performed the greatest Force Feat we've ever seen, and he's not even in his prime yet. To clear things up, The Daughter, The Son, and The Father aren't really people. The Father said their forms are reflections of the Force itself. So really, The Father represents the Force as a whole. The Daughter is the Light Side of the Force, and The Son is the Dark Side. So Anakin in that moment, literally completely controlled and dominated the Light and Dark sides of the Force at the same time. Anakin has a dark future, but the sad thing is it didn't have to turn out that way. Palpatine manipulating him from the start, and the Jedi not being great role models telling Anakin that attachment is bad so he has to stuff his feelings. It all was the perfect storm that led Anakin to the darkness. Thats the biggest tragedy is that he genuinely is a good person. You guys are not ready for the rest of this arc! Shit goes insane!
