Welcome! This is also my first and only Patreon and I couldn't be happier with all the reacts with which I've watched along. I've seen CW/Rebels about 5 times now and this has been so amazing to watch it together with the guys and talk here with other people who also love it. Oh and don't forget to check out their other stuff like Andor and Arcane to name just two great ones. Glad you're here with us. :)

2023-09-01 13:38:29 +0000 UTCFor such an insanely short series, it accomplishes so much in terms of character development and abridging different points in the Star Wars story. 3 of the episodes show us some of the most pivotal moments in Ahsokas life, while the other 3 take one prequel character (I won’t spoil who) and put him in an entirely different light. Those 3 episodes literally completely changed how I looked at a character that I used to hate

2023-09-01 05:13:23 +0000 UTCHey fellas, I've been watching all on YouTube for a few years now, and only just joined the Patreon today and am excited to watch all your Clone Wars reactions early, as well as everything else you do. I also do have a small question/suggestion that I wanted to ask y'all about Star Wars. I know you guys have probably already established your viewing order for all the Star Wars shows you have yet to watch, but I would personally suggest watching Tales of the Jedi IN-BETWEEN Clone Wars and Rebels. It's only 6 episodes, so you can knock it out in a day or two. On top of that, it serves as a perfect epilogue to the Clone Wars, as well as a bridge between Ahsoka's arc in Clone Wars and her arc in Rebels. If your main goal in watching these shows is to get Ahsoka's full story before watching her show, I would definitely recommend watching Tales sometime before, since it contains some extremely important moments for her character. Bad Batch on the other hand, while it is a direct sequel to Clone Wars and takes place before Rebels as well, isn't really necessary to watch before Ahsoka, so you can do that after/synonymously with Ahsoka with no problem. Anyways, that's all I had to say. I know you guys do polls and take requests, so I might look into that even though I know you will watch Tales at some point. I can't wait to see even more of your content and be able to support it directly!

2023-08-31 23:06:23 +0000 UTCStop being such a dumbfuck and insane. I initially said that the tusken raiders are supposed to be an allegory for native Americans and you said “well native Americans had slaves too”, following your comment that the entire village deserved to die for something some people in their community did. You’re literally justifying the death of many people for one person when you know absolutely nothing about the background. In books, what anakin did was so heinous that his step brother Owen Lars actually had a permanent distrust of the Jedi. That’s the reason why he hated Obi wan so much, since he trained him and wanted Luke to do nothing with the Jedi. They were at odds with the settlers of tattooine all the time and they actually got captured and enslaved all the time by settlers too. And once again it’s not my problem that you don’t know the lore. The creators of book of boba fett were very explicit that they were going to change the perception of the tusken raiders because George Lucas did a piss poor job of it, and that was his original intention too, not something that Reddit came up with. If you don’t have media literary, and more importantly if you are an ego maniac just say so.

2023-08-31 10:22:21 +0000 UTCNo, that wasn’t my logic, that was yours. The Tuskens were xenophobes who actively attacked anybody who weren’t them and they captured and tortured people. I guess by your “logic” that’s how you think Native Americans were. If the Tuskens are attacking, capturing, and torturing men and women they’re doing it to kids too. Women and kids have never been spared from anything, they’re usually the first ones getting killed, especially kids, so I don’t know what fantasy world you live in where you think that was never happening. And you keep going about women, but keep choosing to ignore the fact that Shmi was a woman who was captured and tortured. And last I checked women actively participate and uphold problematic systems so why should it be only the men getting killed. And bitch, don’t call me demented. Your failed comprehension skills and your ignorance of actual history is the real problem.

2023-08-31 07:15:40 +0000 UTCSo your logic here is that it was justified to wipe out native Americans because they had slaves too? You’re in really dangerous territory here. Also to say “deserved” about children being murdered is extremely demented

2023-08-31 04:56:15 +0000 UTCThe Tusken abducted, tortured, and enslaved Shmi. And if they did it to her they were doing it to others. And Shmi and Anakin's enslavers were NOT Zygerian. The show NEVER said that. They said they were sold in a market similar to the one on Zygeria. Also, if the Tusken's are based on Native Americans - which is something I've only seen on Reddit and they don't know their head from their a$$ over there - Native Americans actually had slaves. So like I said the Tuskens were enslavers.

2023-08-31 04:38:32 +0000 UTCHard to justify wiping out a whole colony of people (not slavers) imo

2023-08-31 04:32:57 +0000 UTCShiiiiiiiiiiiiit... I'd kill my brother too if Ventress told me to! But seriously this is one of the story arcs I couldn't wait for you two to see and I have to say this watch along is even better than I expected.

2023-08-31 04:26:57 +0000 UTCDarth Maul was trained by Sidious, not Dooku. He knew about Darth Maul, though, even before Qui Gon and Obi Wan fought him

2023-08-31 03:17:12 +0000 UTCYeah I think Palp was secretly training Dooku as a replacement when Maul was still around.

2023-08-31 02:45:21 +0000 UTCTusken raiders weren’t enslavers. The race that enslaved anakin and his family are from Zyggeria. They will literally show it in the show. They hated human colonizers in their planet and took shmi as hostage. The story of tusken raiders is supposed to mirror that of native Americans and it’s explored a lot more in book of boba fett. What anakin did was nothing short of a war crime
URMOTHER
2023-08-31 01:58:55 +0000 UTCThey were enslavers. They got what they deserved.
Mel8235
2023-08-31 01:47:46 +0000 UTCWhen you give in to the dark side of the force, you can’t control a lot of your actions. Anakin massacred a whole village, woman and children included in episode 2 and he’s gonna go on to do things far worse than this when he corrupts
URMOTHER
2023-08-31 01:40:10 +0000 UTCVentress is at the peak of her dark side right now because she’s consumed by her hatred of Dooku, so she’s going to be doing the worst things possible to get her revenge. She is easily one of the most nuanced characters (along with someone else who’s gonna show up) in the SW. even though clone wars was canceled before they could finish up ventress’ story, there’s a book about her and her arc ends quite tragically. Also mother taulson, the matriarch witch is so powerful with magicks that sidious actually considered her a true threat.
