Galactic Republic* and other organizations back the CIS, such as the Banking Clan and Techno Union. The Banking Clan finances them, the Techno Union provides many of their ships for the Navy and does some research, and the Trade Federation provides ships and droids. They also work with local planetary manufacturers and armament companies as well.

It's hard seeing them die because we've gotten to know so many of them as fleshed out characters, so even nameless Clones dying, even if we don't know them, it's shitty to watch. Rex is the absolute homie. Just don't forget that the Empire doesn't exist yet. That is Palpatines long term plan to rule an Empire, but right now, the war is between the United Republic, and the Seperatists. They "seperated" from the Republic, hence the name. And they're backed by the Trade Federation, who makes the army of droids. And the Republic is backed by the Clone Program in Kamino, as well as the Jedi Order, which is an interesting thought brought up here. The Jedi are meant to be peacekeepers, yet as of late they've become nothing but war mongers and soldiers. Does seem slightly hypocritical.... ๐ค You guys are getting into some pretty fire arcs coming up, and I'm hyped!
