There are suppressors but no suppressor can silence the weapon. "Silencer" is an just an incorrect term. I don't blame you for calling it that though. Movies really throwing people off. Lol. Also you wouldn't want to use a suppressor while hunting because it makes you gun longer and heavier. Suppressors also have a negative effect on accuracy meaning you could miss the vital shot and the animal would suffer for it. Hope this helped
