The voice acting in this episode is so top tier. Laura Bailey especially was just sending it. I have mentioned that Ripley and Raishan are my favorite villains this season, but there's something about how Thordak comes on, like Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. Thordak is a dragon's dragon. Critical Role understood how ancient dragons are such a middle finger to every player character who's ever had to encounter one and showed everybody what a real depiction of a dragon looks like. This is a challenging story arc (Vox MAchina came out in three episode bunches that are like mini arcs) and I know at least one group of reactors bailing after episode 9. These episodes came out right around the same time Arcane season 2 came out, so there was tragedy overload for these couple of weeks. This episode itself gives LOTR's Helm's Deep. It also leads to my favorite episode of all three season of TLOVM. Definitely stay for the rest of the season. There's no let up to the excellent storytelling and almost all of the loose ends get nicely wrapped up.
