Isekai Ojisan Episode 6 - Pure Gamer Prowess

I would also suggest this if the anime was anything even close as good as the novels. It actually physically hurts to watch the anime version. Feel so bad for the author.

Well, there is nothing that says the connections follow linear time on both worlds. The GATE/Arifureta world connects randomly to multiple worlds at random points in their eras, that's how multiple races were collected, as well as cultural iconography from disparate eras. In Arifureta they hit a Classroom, in GATE they hit a Comiket and pulled a JSDF response. [Shrug]. I do like blaming Hajime for the Warrior Bunnies Itami has to deal with.....

same, i would have honestly used my time better watching paint dry than watching that anime, but if someone enjoys it, good for them i guess.

Yeah, me too. The Chinese community was saying the author must've cried himself to sleep the day episode 1 came out

I don't usually like to write stuff like this because it's kind of toxic but Arifureta is genuinely one of the worst things I've had the chance to watch in my entire life

LAMPOON MAN's link is to Tee's Arifureta Treasure Hunt back from Summer 2019, jic anyone wanted to know.

So you're saying Hajime and his classmates left a system that auto connects worlds together?

Simon Lau

Arifureta is a ton of fun. I also headcannon that Arifureta and GATE are representations of the same world at different eras, and connected by their isekai kidnapping scheme and the origin of the Warrior Bunnyfolk.

LAMPOON MAN

If you like the magical system from Mistborn, you'll like Arifureta Shokugyo (the actual name's longer but you'll get it if you Google it). The main character gets skills just like that; by eating monster meat. But there are conditions: the quality of the meat has to be around the same or stronger than your own body's, you have to have something that can help you overcome the toxins and the mana in the meat (it's the rampant mana in it that gives monsters strength but it runs counter to your own), and superhuman willpower (the stronger the mana, the greater the pain). The beginning is a bit cheesy, but this series is real fun. It also gives a good explanation as to why the main characters are transported, which is always a good idea. The final boss was also tremendously hard to beat, keeping you on the edge. I really recommend it. The anime's first season was really bad, though. The second improved A LOT.
