Also think there might be a little confusion. Muichiro did get his new sword! It's the blue one he's wielding now. The new sword Haganezuka is making is the one for Tanjiro that he pulled from that doll a few eps ago.

2023-08-11 23:20:54 +0000 UTCUfotable is usually pretty decent at having other characters say what the narrator says but yeah it can often lead to anime viewers having questions that if the narration was kept in, would have be easily answered. I wish they had him pop up every now and again, doesn't have to be all the time but maybe for certain small things. It's kinda similar for Muichiro's final move here. They don't say it in the anime but in the manga they say that Muichiro moves so fast that you can't see him but then also seems to move slow with the glances that you do get, so he disorients the enemy with varying speeds. While in the anime it just kinda looks like he's appearing and disappearing in mist. That's a mild case but a good example of how it can change the way things are perceived. In any case Mui has been one of my fav hashiras for a while so finally getting to see him get his shining moments was so exciting!!
