I really feel Dangers is my second favorite anime romcom after Kaguya, the relatively few reactions I've been able to find rather enjoy it, but it certainly isn't for everyone. I've seen from a number of manga readers Dangers is their favorite romance manga so I'm excited to see how it continues, season 2 announced for January. At any rate, it will be fun to see what gets picked for the Tuesday slot.

2023-07-30 01:54:16 +0000 UTCi honestly don't agree. oshi no ko is not a comedy anime, but it is written by aka akasaka so it does naturally have some very very comedic moments. even still, i wouldnt call dangers a very good romance anime, or a very good comedy anime compared to everything else that you could choose really.

I also think oshi no ko would be good to continue the aka streak. Somehow we still need so sneak the revue movie in somewhere too though.

I guess I can't help but feel Dangers is actually a better follow up for this spot, plus I can't help but pull for a show that could use a bit more recognition, hard to find good reactions to this one. Not that OnK doesn't deserve the attention it receives, it would be great to react to it as well. At this point they are both pretty short series, so either way, there could always be next time for the other.

Oshi No Ko is great but as others have pointed out I wouldn't really call it a good fit for the TeeHee slot, could be a great option somewhere else down the line.

2023-07-26 03:12:07 +0000 UTCI haven't been on Discord recently so I don't know what the recommendations have been there, but Oshi No Ko seems like a strong candidate for a replacement considering it is another series written by Aka Akasaka, aired last season, and had excellent critical and audience reception.
